Dear pastors and youth group leaders,
A man once said to D. L. Moody, "The world has not yet seen what God can do with a man fully devoted to Him." To this Moody responded, "I am that man!" We, the staff members of Abba Ohio, believe that God has the desire to raise an army of young men and women who are fully devoted to Him. We boldly step forward and offer ourselves to be used by the Lord, as He works in the hearts of young people to stand with strength and courage for Jesus Christ.
Do you have a vision for the youth today to be set apart as a generation that seeks the Lord whole-heartedly, without fear, and without compromise? We invite you and your youth group students to participate in our retreat this summer taking place June 29th through July 2th. Called Abba in order to express the father-heart of God, this retreat has been held annually at the Korean Church of Columbus since 1997. This year we once again prepare and anticipate with prayer and hope for God to use this ministry to spread His Gospel and call young people to His Kingdom.
The retreat program will include worship, lectures, quiet times as well as recreation and other activities. Students who will be entering 7th grade through 12th grade can attend as campers. Those who graduated from high school and college and older can apply to be a part of the staff team. We strongly encourage you to pray and consider what the Lord desires in your participation in this retreat.
This year, we are blessed to have John Garcia as our guest speaker. Pastor Garcia is the founder and lead pastor of Legacy Church in Tampa, FL. The costs for Abba are as follows: $60 for students; $40 for staff. Please make sure that all of the student's release forms are signed by their parents or guardians, and send all materials to:
